--We are located in DOTHAN, ALABAMA , at 3759 Ross Clark Circle, Suite 1, Dothan, Alabama 36303. We share a building with Gina’s Next Chapter, a used book store. It’s a stone-front building with a green metal roof between SafeLite Auto Glass and English Village.
--Yes, all games require an advance reservation. We are unable to take reservations over the phone or block rooms based on a conversation. If something happens and you don't show up, we're out your payment, and it would be too late to sell the room to someone else. Please make your bookings through our website's booking page. (Please add booking link here.)
--Use the 'BOOK NOW’ button on our page to visit our online calendar on the booking page for detailed instructions. After choosing which game you want to try, simply follow the prompts to choose the theme you want to try, the size of your party, and finally, the date and time you wish to play. You will enter the players' names and pay online so that upon arrival you can get right into your room. You can also start your adventure right here by clicking Book Here.
--Yes! Once a room is booked, the time slot becomes private, and the additional player tickets (seats) are unavailable for purchase, so you’ll only play with the people you bring. If you need to add a player, it is usually no problem; just be prepared to pay upon arrival by card or with cash. The occupancy of our puzzle rooms is limited first by the Fire Marshall and then by the layout of the puzzle. We’ll do our best to accommodate your group. Murder at the Mansion is able to accommodate up to 10 players if all with one group; Time Warp can play 8, The 13th Floor 6, and Cactus Jack’s Saloon up to 10. You'll see different room max numbers on the booking page; simply make your booking for the max and add it when you arrive.
--Our meeting/party room is no longer available. Our sister store—Gina’s Next Chapter—has assumed use of our ‘extra’ spaces. We still love party groups but are no longer able to host parties in our current space.
--Yes, you can! All rooms are designed to be solvable by as few as two players but challenging enough for 6-8. We adjust the amount of help we provide from the back to ensure everyone has a great experience. Your team will have a better chance of escaping with a larger group.
--You can also find and tag yourself on our Facebook page after your game. There are no selfies or pictures allowed inside our games
--We’re located at 3759 Ross Clark Circle Suites 1, Dothan, Alabama. That’s between Montgomery Highway and Denton Road. Look for Bondy’s Ford’s huge American flag, then the US Post Office. We’re on the same service road used for the USPS. Watch for our logo above the front door on a stone building with a green metal roof. We are between Safelite Auto Glass and English Village.
--All rooms are $30 per player including tax.
--An escape game or exit game is a themed room filled with puzzles. Your team will be locked inside to find clues, crack codes, get out of the room and beat the clock. Hurry, you only have one hour and it goes faster than you'd think!
--In an event that you don’t make it out, you do become a part of our game forever… Just kidding! Our staff will come in, explain how to solve the remaining puzzles if you would like so that you’re not left hanging, and then you’re free!
--No! Fire Code prevents any exit door from physically hindering unrestricted egress. You are free to leave the puzzle room at any time during gameplay. Unfortunately, reentry is not fair to the other players so you may wait in our lobby for your group. In the event of an emergency, your host will be at the door to escort you to the safest exit.
--You can make your reservation conveniently through our online calendar after choosing which game you want to try. Simply follow the prompts to choose the theme you want to try, the size of your party and finally the date and time you wish to play. You will enter the players' names and pay online so that upon arrival you can get right into your room. You can also start your adventure right here by clicking Book Here.
Kids 10-13 will love our rooms, but they'll need an adult to supervise and help out. Since our puzzles are tailored for adults, our games are not ideal for young children. It is not recommended for children under 8 years of age, and kids under 14 need a paying adult.
--If there’s availability! But it’s much safer to make a reservation in advance and know for sure.
--As soon as you know your date and time you should book it. Our weekend slots fill up fast, especially if you are bringing a group. Your best bet is to book your whole group at once as the other slots may sell while waiting for the others in your group to book.
--No, the puzzle rooms we have built are not frightening.
--Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. We’re unable to offer refunds <24 hours due to scheduling conflicts but one reschedule can be processed within 24 hours of your slated mission start. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please email us through our contact page here.
--We are open from Friday through Sunday, and our hours range from 10 AM to 12 AM depending on the day. To book a room time, click Here.
--The person making the reservation should have a photo ID available and be able to vouch for their group. Your name will be in our queue so an ID will suffice.
--There’s ample parking available in the front and rear of the building. There are 2 handicapped parking spaces--one in front, one in rear--both with ramp access to the building.
--Please arrive and check in at our front desk 15 minutes before your game officially starts. That way you have time to sign in, use the restroom, stow your phone and watch a short scenario video. While we love visiting and 'talking shop,' arriving too early can put you in a position to have some of your game spoiled by the group coming out of your room. If you find yourself way ahead of schedule you can call ahead to see what the time frame is--if we're caught up we can possibly start you a bit early.
--The game itself is 60 minutes (or less if your team does great). Please try to arrive 15 minutes before your game starts, and allow for an extra 15 minutes after for pictures and just in case there are any questions. In short, prepare for about 90 minutes.
--Whatever you feel comfortable walking around in! You’ll be moving around as you look for your clues but there is no excessive climbing, crawling or running required. The 13th Floor requires a bit of physical movement and elevation change, comfortable shorts or pants might be better that skirts or kilts.
--While there is a bit of physicality required for slight elevation changes and moderate 'climbing,' most healthy players will have no problems. It is VITAL that you advise your GameMaster immediately of any health issues (such as pacemakers, heart monitors, epilepsy or seizures).
--Of course, but only in our waiting room. There is no photography or videography allowed inside the games. We want to make sure the mysteries are kept secret so everyone who comes has fun!
